Julie A. Milligan was born in Palo Alto, California, admitted to the bar, 1986, California. Also the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Central Districts of California; the State of Colorado and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Education : University of California at Los Angeles (B.A., 1982); University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law (J.D., 1986). Recipient, American Jurisprudence Award for Family Law.

Member: Los Angeles County Bar Association (Family Law Section); Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association; International Academy of Collaborative Professionals; State Bar of California and State Bar of Colorado (Inactive).

Julie Milligan has devoted her law practice exclusively to family law matters. She has represented clients in all aspects of family law including, but not limited to, dissolution of marriage proceedings, support and custody matters, post judgment proceedings, pre-marital agreements, establishment of parentage, step parent adoptions, non-marital family relationships and collaborative family law cases.

She is skilled in non-litigation conflict resolution and has served on both the South Bay Bar Associations Family Law Mediation and Judge Pro Tem Panels, and has served as both a volunteer mediator and Judge Pro Tem in the Family Law Department of the Southwest District of the Los Angeles Superior Court. She is a former Certified Family Law Specialist (from September 13, 1991 through September 13, 2001 she was a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California).
